Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant

This plant is the product of advanced technologies and state of the art design. Truly, it is among the most efficient in the nation. Included in its design is monitoring and control by a central processing unit located in the operators command center that overlooks the new clarifiers.
Olson Electric provided the new electrical ductbank, generator, switchboard and motor control center stations. Improvements to the existing station were so sweeping that for all practical purposes, the plant was redesigned and rebuilt. This renovation included wiring for power and instrumentation for the new biological treatment units, clarifiers, sand filters, solids handling and operations/laboratory building.
In addition to the extensive work at the plant, off site work at remote lift stations was required. This allows for radio frequency control and monitoring of flow to the plant and enables the operator to efficiently manage to incoming flow.
